Best DSLRs And ILCs Cameras For Under A $1000?
I get this question all the time. The truth is I’m not interested in a new camera so I haven’t a clue what’s good or bad currently. I only start looking when I get the urge for a new camera. So here for your enlightenment is someones idea of a list of good cameras for under $1000.00.
From The DPRview Article:
Good-quality DSLRs and interchangeable lens cameras (ILCs) typically provide plenty of manual controls, comfortable ergonomics, and support a legacy of lenses for years to come. But Old or new, getting hold of a quality digital camera still requires you to put down a decent chunk of change. In this article we’re going to look at ten of the best DSLRs and ILCs available for under $1,000. We’ve included current cameras that we really like, and last-generation bargains, too.

The New Wi-Fi Standard – What Is It?
Next-generation Wi-Fi routers, using 802.11ac technology, will be able to accommodate more devices and provide better coverage in a home or office space. Here’s a report from c|net explaining the new Wi-Fi technology.
Should I go out and get the new router right now or wait? Personally I’m going to wait until next year before I upgrade my router. From the LA Times:
A second wave of “ac” routers should reach stores by early 2014, bringing the price of the earlier ones down. But the best time to buy might be the middle of next year when prices for the second batch are expected to drop to about $100. One of the key metrics consumers should look at is the number of simultaneous users a router can handle. Known by the acronym MU-MIMO, the technology allows a router to send data to multiple devices more efficiently.

Two tips for the price of one.
1. Lightroom 5 is now on sale. Currently only the full boxed version is for sat at B&H Photo Video is taking orders even though they haven’t received any copies. At Adobe’s website you can purchase the upgrade version but I don’t see any link to purchase the full version. And you can only order the download version. No boxed version yet.
2. Here are some videos for both experienced Lightroom users and those just starting out. All the videos are from Abode and feature Julieanne Kost. she is probably the teacher, instructor out there for both Lightroom and Photoshop.
